This policy explains how personal data is collected and used when you use Two Weeks Notice at twoweeksnotice.app (the “Service”).
1. Controller

2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, sign-in history and subscription status.
- Content: resumes, files, job postings and anything else you enter, upload or generate in the Service.
- Payment data: plan, payment status and billing details received from our payment provider. We do not receive full card numbers.
- Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, session recordings, errors, browser and device type, IP address, approximate location and referring page.
- Communications: messages you send us and our replies.
3. How we use it
We may use your data to:
- provide, operate and secure the Service, including AI features;
- create and manage your account and subscription;
- analyse how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve and develop our products;
- send you service messages and, where the law allows or you agree, news and offers;
- measure and improve our marketing and advertising;
- prevent fraud and abuse, comply with the law, and establish or defend legal claims.
Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running, improving and promoting the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where it is required. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We may also use data in aggregated or de-identified form for any purpose.
4. AI features
When you use AI features, your content is sent to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini) to generate results. These providers process it under their own terms.
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes above, for example while your account is active, and longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve disputes or enforce our terms.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser storage that the Service needs to work, such as keeping you signed in and saving your work, and, where permitted, cookies for analytics and advertising. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies. You can change your choice with “Cookie settings” in the footer or in your browser settings.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing. To make a request, email hello@twoweeksnotice.app. We may need to verify your identity and may keep some data where the law allows or requires it.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
10. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee security. You are responsible for keeping your email account and devices secure.
11. Age
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18.
